CTO or Color Temperature Orange is a filter that, in it's intended application, converts daylight to tungsten. The gelatin, or gel filters, are placed over the light source to affect it's color temperature. CTO comes in full, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, and even 1/16 stop filtration power. You can spend hours and hours learning more about CTO, filters, and light at LEE Filters and Rosco.

Nice performance and great idea, as many shoots, lives:) have been saved with Gaffer Tape!
Nice job Tim,
I have done this same Dispenser myself with a little different twist. I get a 3inch PVC rod and use 2inch gaff tape and 1/4 camera colored tape. then you have one for securing and one for marking!
with a slightly bigger rod you can have a couple different types of tape at the quick and ready!
