It is always so obvious a minute after you have been approached.
My advice, be sure to always have a business card on hand and be willing to give it to anyone that looks even remotely interested! 
Being too presumptuous or forward about your business is impossible as a freelancer. Embarrass yourself, push the boundaries of your normal social interactions. Its the only way to get consistent work.</description>
